Ahmed Mohamoud is a Vice President, Regional Investor Relations of Greenstone Equity Partners.
Mr. Mohamoud has over 15 years of financial services expertise specializing in capital raising, fund management, and asset finance. He maintains a comprehensive network of well-established relationships with investors in the GCC, including prominent financial institutions, institutional investors, and family offices.
Prior to joining Greenstone, Mr. Mohamoud was Head of Origination at International Airfinance Corporation, a leading aviation fund manager based in Dubai, where he led capital raising activities and managed investor relations. Helping to establish the firm’s first shariah compliant aircraft leasing fund, Mr. Mohamoud raised over $3.5 billion in capital for the fund in four years and oversaw the growth of the fund’s portfolio from five aircraft to fifty-five aircraft.
Prior to that, Mr. Mohamoud was a Senior Investment Officer at the Islamic Development Bank in Saudi Arabia, a substantial institutional investor in the GCC, where he helped manage and grow the bank’s alternative investments portfolio across various sectors, including infrastructure, energy, leasing, and real estate. Mr. Mohamoud began his career with the audit and advisory arm of KPMG, where he performed audits and consulting projects for Fortune 500 companies.
Mr. Mohamoud holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from East Carolina University, US, and a Master of Science in Accounting from the Ohio State University, US. Additionally, Mr. Mohamoud is recognized as a Certified Islamic Banker by the Council for Islamic Banks and Financial Institutions (CIBAFI).
