Anand Tanna is a Vice President and Senior Placement Manager at Greenstone Equity Partners.
Mr. Tanna has over 15 years of origination, investment strategy and capital raising experience on both buy-side and sell-side across private equity, venture capital, banking and mining sectors. Mr. Tanna has a global resume having worked in various countries including Canada, East and West Africa, Malaysia, India, UK and the United Arab Emirates. Mr. Tanna has successfully raised over $250 million across various asset classes including private equity, venture capital, real estate and mining, matching clients, both institutional and non-institutional with global opportunities and vice versa ensuring a perfect balance between capital and opportunity within a client portfolio. Mr. Tanna has a strong investor network within the GCC and East Africa and direct experience with alternative investments.
Prior to joining Greenstone, Mr. Tanna was the Head of Origination and Investments at Santek Family Office where he created, defined and implemented their investment strategy. Prior to this, Mr. Tanna was the Head of Investor Relations & Business Development at Anglo Scientific Growth Fund in London, where he led fund raising activities across the Middle East region and investor due diligence. Prior to this, Mr. Tanna was the Head of Business Development at Rek-Ore Advisors, a Dubai and London based advisory firm focused on natural resources. Mr. Tanna started his career at ABN AMRO Bank, where he helped build the SME banking department in India, Malaysia and Singapore and was awarded best relationship manager in the business for two consecutive years. Mr. Tanna has also worked with the Magic Bus, teaching employment skillsets to underprivileged children across India and is a mentor with UAE based PUSH, a youth development organisation, which aims to identify passion, instill confidence and ignite dreams in the lives of young people aged 13-18 across six countries.
Mr. Tanna graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Business Management) from the University of Calgary, Canada.
