Deepesh Babani is a Director, Deputy Head of Investor Relations of Greenstone Equity Partners.
Prior to joining Greenstone, Mr. Babani was a Vice President of Investment Advisory at CF Inc in Dubai, a boutique wealth management firm with $300 million in assets under advisory for GCC-based investors. During his tenure, Mr. Babani expanded the firm’s service lines to include capital raising for private companies, in which he acquired mandates and successfully raised capital from investors in the GCC. Prior to this, Mr. Babani was an Investment Advisor at ICICI Bank in both its Abu Dhabi and Dubai offices, where he expanded his assets under advisory to over $200 million and nearly 100 GCC-based HNWI investors. Mr. Babani began his career in financial services as an Analyst with the fixed income structuring desk at Nomura in Hong Kong.
In addition to his experience in the finance industry, Mr. Babani is a motivated entrepreneur, having launched a successful concept restaurant in Dubai which was later acquired by a German hospitality group.
Mr. Babani holds a Master of Science in Accounting & Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science, UK, and a Bachelor of Science in Business from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, USA.
