Majed Abu Al Faraj is an Assistant Vice President in the Fund Placement Division at Greenstone Equity Partners.
Prior to joining Greenstone, Mr. Abu Al Faraj worked for Bubblescene Ltd, a London based technology start-up, as Director of Strategy & Financial Planning, where he led strategy formulation, conducted market analysis and built strategic commercial partnerships.
Prior to Bubblescene, Mr. Abu Al Faraj worked for NATIONAL BANK OF ABU DHABI (NBAD) as an Associate Director in the Financial Institutions Group, based out of both the London and Abu Dhabi offices. Mr. Abu Al Faraj was tasked with managing a portfolio of Private Equity, Hedge Funds and SWF Investment Funds investing across UK real estate assets funding circa USD350m in leveraged finance.
Prior to NBAD, Mr. Abu Al Faraj spent 3 years in Saudi Arabia with THE SAUDI BRITISH BANK (SABB), part of the HSBC group, as an Associate in the Corporate Banking team, where he managed a portfolio of 30 clients and oversaw financing of Real Estate assets that generated in excess of USD 4m in income.
Mr. Abu Al Faraj is a Saudi Arabian national and holds both an MSc in Management, with a focus on Strategy and Emerging Markets, from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), UK, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, majoring in International Business, from the University of Queensland, Australia.
