Matt Francis is a Vice President and Placement Manager at Greenstone Equity Partners.
Mr. Francis has over 16 years of successful capital raising, investment advisory, and sales experience.
Prior to joining Greenstone, Mr. Francis led a wealth advisory practice for fast-growing corporations and their employees, whose clients included UAE-headquartered Careem – a rideshare company which was acquired by Uber in Jan 2020 for $3.1 billion. Prior to moving to the UAE in 2016, Mr. Francis was at Oracle in San Francisco where he led a sales group which consistently outperformed quota in expanding Oracle’s enterprise relationships with corporations having at least $500 million in assets. Prior to this, Mr. Francis was the Investor Relations Director for Clean Air Power in San Diego, CA, where he successfully raised private capital for the company and developed its critical investor relations functions. Prior to this, Mr. Francis was a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management and UBS Wealth Management, managing over $230 million for institutional and private clients. Mr. Francis started his career as a Financial Analyst at Banc of America Securities in San Francisco.
Mr. Francis holds a MBA in Finance and International Business from the University of San Diego, California, USA, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the Wesleyan University, Connecticut, USA. Mr. Francis is also a graduate of the Institute for Economic & Political Studies programs at Cambridge University, UK, and the London School of Economics, UK, and a graduate of the Oracle Sales Academy for top sales achievers. In 2007 he was recognized by UBS in the ‘Winners Circle’ list of top advisors in the San Diego Business Journal.
