ALTÉRRA and BBVA plan $1.2 billion global climate investment fund

UAE-backed climate investment platform ALTÉRRA and Spanish bank BBVA agreed to develop a $1.2 billion co-investment vehicle, with BBVA proposing a $250 million commitment as a strategic limited partner.
The vehicle is expected to invest globally across climate infrastructure, private equity and private credit opportunities.
