Gulf sovereign funds deploy record $53.9 billion despite war uncertainty

Gulf sovereign wealth funds deployed a record $53.9 billion across 108 transactions in the first half of 2026, with nearly half of the capital invested in the U.S. 

Gulf funds participated in 21 of the 42 global transactions valued above $1 billion, showing that cross-border deployment remained active despite regional conflict and market uncertainty.
