Middle East Investors rally behind new hedge fund

A new investment firm founded in 2021 by Steven Mnuchin, Liberty Strategic Capital, has raised $2.5 billion attracting investments from sovereign wealth funds in the Middle East, including the Public Investment Fund (PIF) of Saudi Arabia, where he traveled extensively as US Treasury secretary.  The fund is reported to be focused on deploying in technology, financial services, and fintech sectors.
