Mubadala takes a positive outlook on the global gas market with $50 million investment

A recent article on Hydrocarbon Engineering reported that Abu Dhabi based sovereign investor, Mubadala Investment Company (Mubadala) will purchase NextDecade’s common stock in a private placement at a price of $6.27 per share.

The article went on to disclose that as part of the invetsment, Mubadala will receive one seat on NextDecade’s board of directors and have the right to contribute a certain amount of project-level capital to NextDecade’s Rio Grande LNG project.
