QIA joins Plata’s $405 million Series C in Latin America

Qatar Investment Authority participated in a $405 million Series C financing for digital banking platform Plata, valuing the company at $5 billion.
The investment will support Plata’s continued growth in Mexico and across Latin America, where the platform has more than 3.5 million active users.
