QIA looks to Asia and US for new investment opportunities

According to an article published by Bloomberg, Qatar’s sovereign wealth fund, Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) is looking east to Asia for deals in an effort to diversify an investment portfolio which is currently heavily weighted toward North America and Europe.  The article went on to quote Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Chairman of QIA to say "Asia has been very much on our radar”, however also noted that North American deals will remain a priority.
