SMBC and Neuberger Berman launch private credit joint venture in Japan

Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation has agreed with Neuberger Berman East Asia to establish a joint venture that will create and manage Japan-focused private debt funds, primarily investing in senior loans backing leveraged buyouts.
