Jeff Evans is the Chief Business Development Officer of Greenstone Equity Partners.
Mr. Evans has successfully led business operations across three continents for early-stage and high-growth New York and Silicon Valley-based companies.
Between 2013 and 2018, Mr. Evans was the Chief Product Officer at FileRight, leading the privately-held San Francisco-based LegalTech company’s product strategy, product development, product marketing, sales, and customer service operations, and responsible for over 150 employees working across three continents. During his tenure, Mr. Evans effectuated accelerated growth, leaps in product innovation, dramatic improvements to customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness, and the successful launch of new lines of business.
Between 2007 to 2013, Mr. Evans was the Vice President of Product & Product Marketing at Capsilon, leading the venture-backed San Francisco-based FinTech company’s product strategy, product development, product marketing, business development, and professional services operations, and responsible for over 60 employees working across three continents. Mr. Evans’ leadership during his tenure at Capsilon resulted in rapid growth, high profitability, acquisition of industry leading customers and partners, patented technology, and numerous industry awards, leading to a successful exit to a private equity company.
Between 2005 and 2007, Mr. Evans was Senior Vice President of Lending for Montgomery Morgage Capital, leading the company’s lending product portfolio, retail & wholesale lending operations, due diligence, investor relations, secondary marketing, loan servicing, and IT operations. Mr. Evans was responsible for over 50 employees across four operations centers and enabled origination volume exceeding $1.2 billion annually.
In 2003, Mr. Evans founded MortgEdge, a B2B FinTech company enabling online marketing & lead management for U.S.-based mortgage companies.
From 2002 to 2003, Mr. Evans was the Director of the online division of The New York Mortgage Company, the 3rd largest retail mortgage originator in New York, where he launched and led early operations of the online division.
From 2001 to 2002, Mr. Evans was the Director of Business Development of Mortgageit, acquiring and managing partner relationships, resulting in the acquisition of hundreds of thousands of online applications annually.
From 1999 to 2000, Mr. Evans was a Management Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers, successfully completing multiple Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) projects at Fortune 500 companies.
Mr. Evans served honorably in the U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Air Force, and attended the prestigious U.S. Air Force Academy before receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University.
Mr. Evans has previously passed the U.S. NASD’s Series 7 – General Securities Representative Exam, Series 55 – Equity Trader Examination, Series 63 – Uniform Securities Agent State Law Exam, and Mr. Evans holds a U.S. Patent (#CA2745712C) for his work at the FinTech company Capsilon Corporation.
