Omar Barghouthi is a Partner Development Representative of Greenstone Equity Partners.
Prior to joining Greenstone, Mr. Barghouthi interned as a Venture Capital Analyst at GelnerCapital, a Montreal-based family office, where he led the due diligence and screening process of potential investment opportunities focusing on environmental technologies. Prior to this, he was the co-founder of Solaris Solutions, an Ottawa-based solar energy start-up. At Solaris, Mr. Barghouthi developed efficient ways to store power generated from solar panels by automating an energy-shifting system between lithium battery packs.
Mr. Barghouthi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and Statistics from the University of Ottawa, Canada.
