Mr. Rehman has over 30 years of international banking, consumer finance, private banking, wealth management, credit and commercial banking experience gained in various geographies, including the United States, Pakistan, EU and the United Arab Emirates. Mr. Rehman is a seasoned banking professional with proven ability to create strategic direction for business and has developed a comprehensive network of investor connections in the GCC. Mr. Rehman has direct experience with alternative investments and has successfully completed over $15 billion of financing and advisory transactions.
As Co-Head of Investor Relations, Mr. Rehman leads the division’s capital-raising efforts for Fund Manager Partners across the GCC, playing a key role in expanding their regional investor base. He specializes in structuring investment solutions, including Shariah-compliant strategies, tailored to meet the needs of GCC investors. Beyond fundraising, he works very closely with the CIO and contributes to shaping Greenstone’s long-term vision, streamlining internal processes, and driving operational efficiencies to support the firm’s continued growth.
Prior to joining Greenstone, Mr. Rehman has held various senior management roles with global financial institutions inlcuding, Bank J. Safra Sarasin Ltd, ABN AMRO Bank N.V, Standard Chartered Bank and Bank of America, NT & SA. Mr. Rehman’s experience in the region has predominently been with Dubai Islamic Bank where he held positions as Senior Vice President, Head of Wealth Management & Distribution and Senior Vice President and Head of Wealth Management & Private Banking where he created and developed the bank’s priority, private banking, capital markets and investments offerings. Mr. Rehman has also served as a Board Member for Dubai Islamic Financial Services.
Mr. Rehman is a Pakistani national and holds a Bachelor of Science in Management & Marketing from the Binghamton University – School of Management in New York, United States and a Masters of Business Administration in Marketing from Missouri, U.S.
