Chief Compliance Officer
Ms. Fairweather is Chief Compliance Officer at Greenstone and a member of the Executive Committee, with overall responsibility for regulatory compliance across the firm’s regulated businesses. Her role encompasses regulatory compliance and governance, financial crime compliance, and oversight of the regulatory requirements applicable to Greenstone’s fund placement and marketing activities across the markets it serves. As part of her responsibilities, Ms. Fairweather holds approved compliance, risk and financial crime roles with the UAE Capital Market Authority (“CMA”), the Dubai Financial Services Authority (“DFSA”), and the Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority (“QFCRA”).
Prior to joining Greenstone, Ms. Fairweather worked at Hg (formerly HgCapital), a leading private equity firm in London, where she was responsible for the oversight of fund operations. Earlier in her career, she worked within the Alternative Investment Solutions group at State Street Global Services in London, providing client services and fund administration support to real estate and private equity clients.
Ms. Fairweather is a British national and holds a Master of Science in Chemistry from the University of Nottingham, UK. She holds the Diploma in Investment Compliance from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS).
