Mr. Ahmed has over five years of experience spanning private funds placement, investor relations, capital markets, derivatives, and client engagement. Through broad institutional investor coverage, he has raised billions in new capital for funds across private equity, private credit, and infrastructure.
Prior to joining Greenstone, Mr. Ahmed worked at Evercore in London as an Associate Sales Specialist in the Private Funds Group, where he raised capital across private equity, private credit, and infrastructure mandates, developed new LP relationships globally, and coordinated global investor roadshows. During his tenure, his team was consecutively recognised as "Placement Agent of the Year." Earlier in his career, he worked at Deutsche Bank in London, specialising in Equity-Linked Capital Markets and leading the execution of convertible bond issuances across the EMEA region.
In addition to his institutional finance experience, Mr. Ahmed founded Spade.Fit a London-based fitness technology platform. He architected a model to digitally train athletes, built and launched the platform, and led a multidisciplinary team of PhD neurophysiologists, data scientists, designers, and engineers, while partnering with gyms, championship athletes, and Olympians to drive commercial growth.
Mr. Ahmed is a British national and holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Economics from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom. He has also completed the CISI Securities, Regulations and Derivatives qualifications.
