H.E. Sheikh Khalid Bin Ahmed Al Hamed

Sheikh Khalid is the son of the late Sheikh Ahmed, who passed away in 2012. Sheikh Ahmed was the maternal cousin of the late Sheikh Zayed and the uncle of the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who served as President of the UAE from 2004 until his death in 2022.

Born in 1929, Sheikh Ahmed was a pioneer of the UAE’s media industry and the country’s first Minister of Information and Tourism. He worked alongside the late Sheikh Zayed before the formation of the UAE, holding various positions in Abu Dhabi. He remained a loyal and close adviser to Sheikh Zayed until his death in 2004.

His son, Sheikh Khalid holds various positions across different companies including the below:
