Mr. Papas brings over 10 years of experience in origination, fundraising, and business development within the financial services and other industries.
Prior to joining Greenstone, Mr. Papas served as Managing Director at Cambridge Wilkinson, a New York-based placement agent, where he led Australian origination and provided fund managers, primarily in the private credit space, with access to North American Limited Partners and allocators. Concurrently, he served as a Senior Advisor to Finex Hong Kong Limited, where he advised on origination and business development initiatives across Australia, facilitating access to Asia-based family offices and institutions for Australian fund managers. Across both roles, Mr. Papas cultivated relationships with fund managers, C-suite executives, institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and corporate investors, supporting fundraising initiatives across private credit, private equity, venture capital, real estate, and Infrastructure strategies.
Prior to this, Mr. Papas operated his own private advisory firm, where he was engaged by clients across multiple industries to assist with business development and origination activities.
Mr. Papas is an Australian national and holds a certificate in Private Equity and Venture Capital from Bocconi University, Italy. He is currently completing a certificate in Global Financing Solutions from EDHEC and Société Générale.
