Mr. Yang brings over 22 years of combined industry and financial services expertise in South Korea, including 15 years of investment experience in the South Korean private markets.
Prior to joining Greenstone, Mr. Yang held senior leadership roles in global private markets at Hanwha Asset Management Company and Hyundai Investments Management Company, where he expanded each firm’s exposure to global private market assets.
Prior to this, Mr. Yang led global real estate and infrastructure investments at Hanwha Life Insurance, focusing on outbound and cross-border strategies, and worked in investment banking at IBK Securities. Mr. Yang commenced his career with roles as a management consultant at Accenture before providing M&A and investment advisory services at Deloitte.
Mr. Yang is a South Korean national and holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University as well as a BBA from Seoul National University.
