Mr. Barges has over 10 years of experience in asset management, private equity, and investment banking, specializing in private markets, client relationships, and fundraising.
Prior to joining Greenstone, Mr. Barges was a Senior Private Markets Manager at BIL (Banque Internationale à Luxembourg), where he developed the private markets solutions offering for private wealth clients. During his tenure, Mr. Barges managed BIL’s selection of private market funds across multiple strategies (including private equity, venture capital, infrastructure, real estate, and private debt) and led fundraising efforts through advisory and portfolio management.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Barges worked at Euronext in Brussels, focusing on sales and business development in primary markets, and Natixis CIB in Paris, managing corporate client relationships and supporting credit facilities, M&A, and refinancing transactions. Mr. Barges additionally worked at BNP Paribas Asset Management in Stockholm, where he focused on equity research and fund commercialization for multi-sector funds, particularly in life sciences and technology.
Mr. Barges is a French national and holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and Economics, a Master of Money, Finance and Banking from Panthéon-Assas University, Paris, as well as a Master of Science in Financial Markets from Sorbonne University, Paris.
