Mr. Akram is Chief Financial Officer at Greenstone and a member of the Executive Committee. He is approved by local regulators, including the DFSA, the QFCRA, and the UAE and Saudi CMAs, a distinction held by few finance professionals in the region. Since joining Greenstone, he has shaped the firm's financial strategy, led the launch of new business initiatives, and helped expand its global footprint. His experience spans nearly two decades in finance, audit, and regulatory compliance across the Middle East.
Prior to Greenstone, Mr. Akram was Finance Manager at GulfTalent, the GCC's leading recruitment platform, where he helped expand the business into B2C revenue streams and led the launch of a graduate recruitment portal in Saudi Arabia. He began his career at EY, a Big Four accounting firm, where he worked on audit, advisory, and taxation engagements for multinational clients in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Mr. Akram is a Pakistani national. He holds an MSc in Professional Accountancy from the University of London and a BSc in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, UK. He is a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
